This summer 4 Junior Consultant - Carien Caljouw, Kris Peeters, Lisanne van Leeuwen and Sanne van der Star - started their product training at Tragpi and as from September 1st they will join our project teams. Yuen-Mei Wong joined our Team Innovations & Operations as Junior Tester in July 2011.

Last weekend our colleague Wouter van Dijk was part of Team 204 of the Roparun. The Roparun is the world's longest relay race: from Paris (France) to Rotterdam (Netherlands). Goal is to collect money for people with cancer.

From April 5th - 8th the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare took place at the Amsterdam RAI Congress Centre. The 2011 Forum captured the essence of excellent, safe and affordable healthcare bringing together an international audience of 2,700 attendees from over 80 countries.

1st Cost Model 2010 for Gelre Hospitals
At March 28th, 2011 the 1st Cost Model 2010 has been delivered for Gelre Hospitals. With this project Gelre Hospitals is the first hospital in the Netherlands that has realised this completely on the basis of the enforced guidelines and methods 2011. Tragpi congratulates their project team and Gelre Hospitals with this excellent achievement.

Benchmark project expanded to Northern Tanzania
In October Marieke Kleinschiphorst and Wouter van Dijk (Tragpi) together with two colleages from CSSC visitid several hospitals in Tanzania as part of the Benchmark project. This time they visited hospitals in Northern Tanzania.
Health Insurer CZ selects hospitals on their performance
Health Insurer CZ has announced that as from January 1st she will no longer contract breast cancer care in hospitals that perform poorly in this area. Totally sixty hospitals are involved. CZ totally has 3,3 millon insured and is the third health insurer in the Netherlands.
