Over 40 years
TRAG Consultants came about from Advies Groep TRAG BV, which was founded by
Mr. F.C. van Dorsser in 1966. TRAG has thus been in existence since more than 40 years.
The company was a leader in logistic services in Europe. Originally TRAG specialized in logistic processes and consultancy. It was revolutionary through its total vision on logistics in organizations. 

Optimizing business processes
The firm was originally founded in Amsterdam. Later, from 1967 until 1999, it operated out of Rotterdam. Advies Groep TRAG reached its peak in 1973, when it had 30 specialists in logistics. In 1987 the advisory group started focussing on development and implementing the software package TRAGLOGI . This offered the possibility to model business processes and thus optimize organizations. 

Healthcare institutions
At the end of the 1980s, TRAG Advies Groep also started working for healthcare institutions. For the first time, logistic processes were documented professionally in this sector. The company grew in the early 1990s. Its sphere of activities was extended during this time from logistics to financial services. In 1996 TRAG Consultants vof was founded by Steven H. Lugard and Lim Vermeer. They stood at the basis of TRAG Consultants in its present form. In May 2001 TRAG Consultants moved to its current location in Huis ter Heide near Utrecht, practically in the woods of central Holland. 

In the late 1990s Holger Wagenaar joined TRAG Consultants as its third partner. Along with Steven Lugard he extended the financial services with regard to the healthcare sector. In light of the developments in this sector, there has been an ever growing demand for the services of TRAG.

QPR CostControl
QPR CostControl BV was founded in 2001. Through this company TRAG Consultants has developed itself in the past several years as market leader in the field of cost management in the Dutch healthcare sector. Internationally there is also a considerable demand for the services of TRAG. 

TRAG, your support in financial health
In 2005, the software developement company QPR CostControl B.V. was separated from TRAG Consultants. In this way TRAG can focus primarily on advice to its clients, thereby ensuring the quality of its services. TRAG – your support in financial health – thus came about in its present form.
